Tia Larese

Tia Larese is an experienced educator currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, specializing in Differentiating Instruction for Diverse Learners. Tia has extensive experience in the field of education, holding the position of Professional Development Leader for the Literacy Team at the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers since June 2017, and has been an ESOL Teacher at the School District of Philadelphia since September 2008. Prior to these roles, Tia worked as a Teacher at Steppingstone Scholars, Inc. from June 2008 to May 2015. Tia holds a Master of Education (M.S.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies, Journalism, and Theater from Ursinus College, and is currently pursuing a TESL Certification from Drexel University.
