Wanda Brown Tharpe

Wanda Brown Tharpe has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Executive Director of Secondary Education for the School District of Pickens County since July 2006, after holding positions as School Principal and Assistant Principal. Prior experience includes a decade at Wren Middle School as an educator from August 1996 to June 2006. Wanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Clemson University and an Associate of Arts from Greenville Technical College. Advanced studies were completed at Furman University.
