Amy Durkalski has over 15 years of experience in the field of education, specializing in early childhood and special education. Currently, as the Assistant Director of Specialized Student Services - Compliance at School District U-46, Amy oversees compliance-related aspects of specialized services. Previous roles include serving as Interim Principal and Assistant Principal at Chicago Public Schools, as well as Master Teacher & Administrator at Start Early. Amy's foundational experience includes teaching in early childhood settings and directing summer camps. Academic credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development with an emphasis on Children with Autism from The University of Kansas.
