Agatha Budys has a diverse range of experience in the field of visual merchandising and design. Agatha began their career at Mana Contemporary, where they served as a Senior Graphic Designer responsible for designing exhibition materials, magazine layouts, signage, and web content. From there, Agatha joined MAC Cosmetics as a Global Visual Merchandising Designer, designing and creating unique artwork for MAC stores worldwide. Agatha then worked at The Body Shop as a Visual Merchandising Lead, managing visual merchandising initiatives for Sephora stores in North America. Agatha later joined Fresh as a Visual Merchandising Manager for North America, overseeing design, production, and implementation of new product fixtures, as well as coordinating store openings, product launches, and graphic releases. Agatha then moved on to NARS Cosmetics, where they served as the Visual Merchandising Manager, Global, leading visual merchandising efforts worldwide and maintaining store standards and guidelines. Agatha also had a role at Jack Morton Worldwide as an Art Director, where they partnered with various clients to create impactful campaigns and materials. Most recently, they worked at CB2 as an Associate Art Director, Brand, leading the design and execution of branded materials and collaborating with marketing and merchandising teams to enhance the shopping experience. Agatha's current position is as a Senior Industrial Designer, Visual Merchandising at School House NYC, where they are responsible for designing innovative and on-brand in-store merchandising solutions for luxury and prestige beauty products.
Agatha Budys obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they pursued further education abroad at Northumbria University for the academic year 2006-2007, where they focused on Graphic Design.
