Tony Wold, Ed.D.

Tony Wold, Ed.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. Tony is currently serving as the CBO in Residence at School Innovations & Achievement, where they are implementing the Achievement Initiative to improve student achievement through an Attendance Management System. Additionally, Tony is the Director/Administrator in Residence at DistrictOS, where they provide real-time connections for public schools to view and analyze management information systems.

Prior to their current roles, Tony served as the Associate Superintendent of Business Services at the West Contra Costa Unified School District from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they were the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services at the Westminster School District from 2015 to 2019.

Tony has also held various positions at the Santa Ana Unified School District, including Executive Director of Business Operations from 2011 to 2015, Director of Program Quality Analysis from 2008 to 2011, and Director of Quality Education from 2007 to 2008.

Early in their career, Tony worked as the Director of Student Assessment at the Rowland Unified School District from 2000 to 2007.

Tony Wold, Ed.D. has a strong educational background, with degrees in both educational leadership and administration, as well as business administration. In 1990, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business, with a focus on marketing and communications. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from the University of Southern California in 2005, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration.

In addition to their degrees, Wold has also acquired certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2009, they obtained the Chief Business Official certification from the California School Business Association (CASBO). The following year, in 2010, they obtained the Chief Financial Officer certification from the Council of the Great City Schools. These certifications further solidify their knowledge and skills in the areas of financial management and educational administration.
