Darryl Simsovic

Darryl Simsovic has extensive experience in the education industry, particularly in the franchised education sector. Darryl founded ITEM Corporation in 2011 as a holding company focused on acquiring and growing small to middle-market franchised education concepts. In 2015, they became Chairman and CEO of LaunchLife International Inc., an EdTech investment company specializing in franchised education platforms. Under their leadership, LaunchLife expanded its global presence with over 270 locations in 31 countries. Simsovic also served as Chairman and CEO of Pitman Training Group Ltd., the UK's leading independent training provider, starting in 2018. Additionally, they held similar positions at Academy of Learning Inc., Engineering For Kids, and School Is Easy Tutoring, all within the franchised education space. Simsovic further expanded their leadership role with tūtit, LLC in 2019, a global platform connecting students with tutors. Darryl also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at BEworks and Charlesway Corporation Limited, a Private Equity firm with a diverse portfolio. Simsovic has made significant contributions to the education sector and has a strong track record of driving growth and success within franchised education companies.

Darryl Simsovic attended Harvard Business School, studying Business. Darryl also obtained the Accredited Director (Acc. Dir.) certification from the ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators).
