Marisa Rubel is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching various subjects across different grade levels. Currently serving as a 7th Grade Individuals & Societies IB MYP Teacher at School Lane Charter School since August 2022, Marisa employs a thematic approach to social studies education. Previous roles include teaching English Language Arts and History to grades 6-8 at Kohelet Yeshiva, where Marisa developed inclusive curricula and engaged in co-teaching to support diverse student needs. Experience also includes a position as a Long Term Substitute Teacher in mathematics for students with learning disabilities at Denver Public Schools, and a role as a Ceramics Teacher for young children at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center. Marisa holds a Master's degree in Special Education Curriculum and Instruction and is currently pursuing a Paralegal Studies Certificate at Villanova University.
