Chiquita Afuluenu Johnson

Chiquita Afuluenu Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in hospitality, tourism, and marketing. Currently serving as the Registration Coordinator at the School Nutrition Association since November 2022, Chiquita previously worked as a Marketing Specialist at Banyan Hill Publishing from February 2022 to September 2022. As the CEO of West Tourism Management since its launch in 2015, Chiquita has focused on delivering unique luxury experiences in African tourism while promoting responsible practices. Chiquita's consulting expertise includes strategic studies for ecotourism with Solimar International, e-commerce development support for UNCTAD, and tourism stakeholder engagement for the International Trade Centre. Additionally, Chiquita contributed to the 12th Man Campaign against violence toward women in Liberia while working with UN Women. Chiquita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Penn State University, earned in 2008.
