Pratt-Heavner, Diane has extensive experience in media relations and communications. Pratt-Heavner, began their career in 1996 as an Assistant Analyst at Cooper & Secrest Associates. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as a Press Secretary/Legislative Assistant for U.S. Representative Allen Boyd. Following that, Diane served as the Press Secretary for U.S. Representative Jim Davis from 2000 to 2006. Pratt-Heavner, then joined Save the Children as an Associate Director of Media and Communications from 2007 to 2008. Diane's most recent role was as the Director of Media Relations for the School Nutrition Association, starting in September 2009.

Diane Pratt-Heavner attended William & Mary from 1992 to 1996 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government.
