Dr. Chaitanyanand B. Koppiker, M.S., MD is a Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon and the Medical Director of Orchids Breast Health Center, Pune, India, which is a center of excellence for breast health and a unique and state of the art facility in India with integrated solutions for breast care.
His wide-ranging accomplishments include: visiting faculty to the East Anglia University U.K for their Mastership Program in Oncoplastic Surgery, Director of Breast Services at Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, Oncoplastic surgeon to a corporate hospital in Mumbai – Hinduja Healthcare Khar, Regional Convener for India and Asia for the Mastership (MCh Program) of the East Anglia University U.K., the only Oncoplastic Mastership Training Program in Asia. He also established in Pune an International School Of Oncoplastic Surgery and has conducted 3 international Workshops and Conferences.
He established the 1st integrated cancer center in Pune (Budhrani Cancer Institute at the Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital, Pune). He then served as the Director of the Ruby Hall Clinic Cancer Center and spearheaded the Cancer Clinic and Research Center at Jehangir Hospital in Pune. Along with founding and serving as Managing trustee of Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, a non-profit charitable organization that provides free and affordable cancer care and rehabilitation to underprivileged patients, he is the Director of a Translational Research Foundation supported by Bajhaj Auto and founded under the aegis of Prashanti Cancer Care Mission and IISER (Indian Insititute of Science Education and Research) involved in basic research in triple-negative and hereditary breast cancer.
