Andy Hall

Interim Director Department Of Contemporary Practices at School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Andy Hall is an accomplished academic and artist with extensive experience in higher education. Since 2001, Andy has served as an Associate Professor and currently holds the position of Interim Director in the Department of Contemporary Practices at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Prior to this, Andy operated HallMfg. from 1997 to 2014, focusing on building community through a service workshop, and worked as a Tech at Vermont Clay Studio from 1996 to 1997. Andy earned a BFA from the University of Kansas between 1991 and 1996 and furthered education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1997 to 2000.
