Joe Donaldson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in academia and the creative industry. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts since September 2024, Joe also holds the position of Head of Design & Creative Director at BUCK, a role maintained since May 2020. As a Co-Founder and Product Designer at Rolo since May 2022, Joe has further demonstrated entrepreneurial skills. Previous positions include Founder of Holdframe, Professor at Ringling College of Art and Design, and Lead Curator & Editor at Motionographer.com. Notable freelance assignments include directing, designing, and animating for prominent publications such as The New Yorker and The New York Times. Joe's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
