Natali Amantea is an experienced educator and professional with a strong background in teaching, coaching, and customer service. In the role of Substitute Teacher within ABC Unified School District, Amantea created supportive learning environments for various English classes, focusing on differentiated activities for all learners. As a Student Teacher, similar responsibilities were undertaken to foster student engagement. Amantea also served as an Assistant Coach at PAR Performance, specializing in athletic training for young athletes while promoting character development. Previous experience includes working as a Server at The Crab Pot Long Beach, a Customer Service Representative at Age of Learning, Inc., a Copywriter for Agency 241, and a Marketing/Copywriting Intern at LA County Library. Amantea holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Secondary Education at Chapman University, alongside obtaining a Single Subject Teaching Credential.

Founded by Agnes Stevens in 1993, School on Wheels is a nonprofit organization that provides one-on-one tutoring for kids who live in shelters, motels, group foster homes, and on the streets of Southern California. In addition to weekly tutoring and mentoring, every student receives a backpack, school supplies, and uniforms; students get assistance enrolling in school and with locating and filing school records. We do all this with no government funding. We survive through the donations of people like you who believe as we do that every child has potential and every volunteer makes a difference.
