Geraldine Fernandez has extensive experience in clinical psychology and mental health, currently serving as a Clinical Psychology Extern at Children's National Health System and a Mental Health Extern at The Tree House Child Assessment Center of Montgomery County Maryland since 2014, specializing in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Additionally, Geraldine has worked as an Associate at School Readiness Consulting and held the position of Graduate Assistant/Project Manager for The Better Teaching Project at The Catholic University of America since 2012. Previous roles include Clinical Psychology Practicum Student at The Catholic University of America Counseling Center, Intern/Volunteer at Hartford Hospital's Anxiety Disorders Center, Research Assistant at Trinity College - Hartford, and Intern at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. Geraldine earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, along with a focus in Writing, Rhetoric, and Media Arts, from Trinity College-Hartford.
