Kate Mckenney

Kate McKenney is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in early childhood education, policy advocacy, and professional development. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at School Readiness Consulting, McKenney previously held the position of Early Childhood Public Policy and Advocacy Fellow at Neighborhood Villages. McKenney earned a Doctor of Education in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Johns Hopkins University, where a mixed-methods dissertation focused on improving access to quality early learning for military children. Additional roles include developing professional development content for Discovery Education, founding and directing New Bern Cooperative Preschool, and managing various programs within Marine Corps Community Services.
