Mark Freie is an experienced news reporter and anchor currently working at Audacy, Inc. since April 2019, while also serving as a play-by-play broadcaster for School Space Media since August 2019. Previously, Mark held the positions of news director and play-by-play broadcaster at KLMJ/KQCR Radio from November 2016 to April 2019, and completed a radio broadcast internship with the Minnesota Twins from February to October 2016. Educational credentials include two bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication, and Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Iowa, along with an associate's degree in Sport Management and another in Liberal Arts and Sciences from North Iowa Area Community College. Mark's extensive background also includes students roles across various media outlets, including sports reporting and broadcasting for the Big Ten Network and KRUI Radio.
