Daniel Sammut is an experienced project officer and sports administrator with a solid background in operations, education, and community engagement within the sporting industry. Currently serving as a Project Officer - Operations at School Sport Victoria since May 2021, Daniel has previously held roles such as Project Officer - Hobsons Bay UP at Hobsons Bay City Council and Sport and Recreation Officer at Wyndham City Council. Daniel's career also includes significant contributions to North Melbourne Football Club as the Education Coordinator for The Huddle and a combined role in sport and education, as well as experience with AFL Victoria in game development and Auskick coordination. School Sport Victoria
School Sport Victoria (SSV), as part of the Department of Education and Training, delivers an extensive school sport program to primary and secondary students across Victoria. School Sport Victoria was established on 1 January 2010 following the merger of the Victorian Primary Schools' Sports Association (VPSSA) and the Victorian Secondary Schools' Sports Association (VSSSA) that occurred during 2009. The VPSSA and VSSSA both existed for over 100 years prior to the merger.
