Bill Cheney

Bill Cheney is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the credit union industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and President of SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union since June 2014. Prior to this role, Bill held the position of President and CEO at the Credit Union National Association from July 2010 to June 2014 and led the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues in the same capacity from March 2006 to July 2010. Additional leadership experience includes serving as President and CEO at Xerox Federal Credit Union and as Executive Vice President at Security Service Federal Credit Union. Bill began his career as a Consulting Manager at Accenture after earning a BBA with a concentration in Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business in 1982. Bill graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas, in 1982.
