Brent Tercero

Brent Tercero currently serves as the Executive Director of Credit Union Advocacy at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union since September 2021. Previously, Tercero held the position of Managing Director of External Affairs at Educators for Excellence and served as Councilmember and Mayor in the City of Pico Rivera. Tercero has extensive experience in educational leadership roles, including Regional Director for Leadership for Educational Equity and as a teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Early career experiences include roles as a Management Intern for the City of Maywood and a Legislative Intern for LA Councilman Tony Cardenas. Tercero's educational background includes a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California and a Doctorate in Public Administration from California Baptist University.
