A Managing Partner, Ted invests primarily in venture and growth stage private companies, with time allocated to internal management, asset allocation and firm strategy. Presently, he is a director at 4G Clinical, Cartesian Therapeutics, Eastern Point Capital, Millstone Medical Outsourcing, Nanoscale Powders, Spotted, SRS Medical, and Zixi. He has led or co-led a number of Schooner investments including Seventh Generation (acquired by Unilever), SHIFT (acquired by Marlin Equity), Topokine Therapeutics (acquired by Allergan), Mimetogen Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Allergan), StyleFeeder (acquired by Time Inc.), and Best Doctors (acquired by Brown Brothers). Prior to joining Schooner in 2003, Ted worked for Fidelity Capital, Leo Burnett and subsidiaries of The Washington Post Company. He was also a mediocre entrepreneur. Ted is a past director at several not-for-profits and co-chaired Friends of Dartmouth Soccer for a number of years. He has degrees from Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.
