Adem Yüksel

Supply Chain And IT Director at SCHOTT

Adem Yüksel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Adem started their career at Orjin Group Elements/Natura Tekstil in 1997, where they worked as an Import Export Specialist, managing coordination of import and export operations and preparing foreign trade reports. Adem then joined Teksfil/Polaris Textile in 2004 as a Trade Manager, overseeing sales, production budgets, and implementing an ERP system. In 2005, they transitioned to Nursan Elektrik Donanim A.S. as a Purchasing and Logistic Manager, responsible for budgeting, logistics operations, and managing customs clearance. In 2009, they became an Operation Manager at Alvimedica, where they focused on operational management. Finally, they joined SCHOTT in 2011, initially as a Logistics and Planning Manager before being promoted to Supply Chain and IT Director. In this role, Adem was responsible for warehouse management, customer service, demand planning, and supporting lean activities.

Adem Yüksel holds a Master's degree in International Business Administration from Marmara University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in business administration from Istanbul University, from 1995 to 2000. Adem Yüksel also holds several additional certifications, including CSCP and CLTD from APICS, and a Global SAP Certified Application Associate certificate in Production-Planning and Manufacturing with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6, obtained from SAP in October 2015.
