Gernot Weber

Gernot Weber is an experienced professional in the field of infrared materials and laser glass, currently serving as Worldwide Product Manager for IR Materials and active Laser glass at SCHOTT since April 2007. With a background that includes roles such as Key-Account-Manager, Product Launch Manager for IRG Materials, Global Product Manager for Infrared Materials, Project Engineer, and Trainee at SCHOTT, Gernot has developed a comprehensive expertise in product management and engineering. Prior to SCHOTT, Gernot worked as an Application Engineer at SIMONA AG from January 2005 to March 2007. Gernot holds a Master of Business and Engineering degree in General Management from Steinbeis Hochschule (2003-2014) and a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Process Engineering from Technische Hochschule Bingen (1999-2003).
