Andreas Block

Andreas Block has extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Andreas currently serves as the Geschäftsführer at SCHOTTEL Industries GmbH since January 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the CFO at SCHOTTEL from October 2009. Andreas also held the position of Leiter FB-Controlling at Brose Group from May 2008 to October 2009. Before that, they served as the Kaufmännischer Leiter at Josef Raab GmbH & Cie. KG from August 2005 to April 2008 and at Plus-Minus Coating GmbH from January 2004 to July 2005. Andreas has also worked at Schmalbach-Lubeca AG as a Bereichscontroller from August 1998 to December 2003 and as an International Auditor from December 1995 to July 1998. Andreas worked as a Finance Manager at Shimano (Europa) GmbH from July 1995 to November 1995. Andreas began their career as a Prüfungssassistent at KPMG from October 1993 to May 1995.

Andreas Block's education history begins in 1988, where they enrolled at Hochschule Trier to pursue a degree in European Business. Andreas completed their studies there in 1992, earning a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH). In 1990 and 1991, Andreas Block had the opportunity to participate in an integrated study abroad program as a scholarship recipient of the DAAD. Andreas attended the University of St. Thomas during this period, focusing on Business Administration.

Following their time at the University of St. Thomas, Andreas Block went on to further their education at the University of Leicester. From 1992 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Business Analysis with a specialization in European Business.
