Tom Heymans

Tom Heymans is an experienced lighting professional with a strong focus on design and innovation in public and private lighting solutions. Currently serving as a Lighting Architect at Schréder since May 2010, Tom specializes in designing public lighting schemes for the Flanders region. Prior to this role, Tom worked as a Lighting Engineer at Havells-Sylvania, creating lighting concepts for various large-scale projects including offices, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, and schools. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lighting Architect at Cone Lighting, providing creative lighting solutions for residential and commercial projects, and working as a Lighting Planner at Trilux, where Tom developed lighting plans for industrial and office environments. Tom holds a Master's degree in Design Sciences/Product Design from Hogeschool Antwerpen and completed an Erasmus exchange program in Light Design at MIP Politecnico di Milano.
