Yelena Sokolov

Yelena Sokolov is an experienced Foreign Linguist with a extensive background in translation and interpretation across various industries. Currently serving at Mission Essential Personnel since October 2010, Yelena specializes in classified translations and has acted as a Russian-English interpretation expert during court hearings. In addition to work at Schreiber Translations, Inc., Torres AES, and Lionbridge, Yelena has over twenty years of interpretation experience in legal, immigration, and medical contexts. Previously, Yelena held the position of Regional Specialist for the Joint Distribution Committee, managing programs in Eastern Europe and collaborating on extensive program reports. Yelena holds a Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a Master of Science in Broadcasting Engineering from Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics.
