Aaron Cooper

Aaron Cooper has a diverse work experience, starting as a Bricklayer & Carpenter at D.T.S Building Company from 2006 to 2008. Aaron then worked as a Domestic & Business Sales Advisor at DSGi Business from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Customer Care & Front-End Developer at Bamboo Marketing Ltd, where they developed the company's website and gained experience in interface design and CMS customization. Aaron worked as a Freelance Web Designer, Developer, and Illustrator at ALCooper Web Design from 2010 to 2015, creating websites and branding materials for clients and expanding their design skills. At Cybacat, they served as a Web Designer & Developer from 2014 to 2015, delivering front-end and CMS interfaces for a hotel booking website and developing UI/UX skills. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer at 2359 Media, leading front-end development projects, collaborating in Agile teams, and maintaining a React components library. At Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2020, focusing on cross-platform mobile app development and customer self-service web apps. In their most recent role at Firemark Collective, starting in 2020, Aaron worked as a Full Stack Engineer, eventually becoming a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Aaron served as the technical lead for engineering in Firemark Labs Singapore, leading a team of 5 engineers and being responsible for resource planning, architecture planning, and project execution. In 2023, they joined Schroders as a Principal Software Engineer.

Aaron Cooper earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Games and Multimedia Development from the University of Worcester from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed A-Levels in ICT, Design & Technology, and Chemistry at Dyson Perrins C of E 6th Form College from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft (obtained in 2023) and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance (obtained in March 2022).
