Edward Smith

Edward Smith is Head of Legal and Structuring Hub at Schroders Capital, where he provides legal support to the broader Private Assets group, advising on fund structuring, documentation, governance, and marketing, as well as managing relationships with external legal advisers. Prior to joining Schroders in 2018, Ed spent over 20 years at Linklaters, the last 11 years as a Partner in the Investment Funds group in both London and Hong Kong. He is a Solicitor qualified in England and Wales, and Hong Kong (non-practicing). Ed holds a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from University of Oxford.
