Merrick Styles

Merrick Styles is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in multi-asset investment management. Currently serving as Head of Multi-Asset Total Return at Schroders since January 2019, Merrick oversees portfolios for large sovereign wealth funds and official institutions. Prior to Schroders, Merrick held the position of Managing Director - Investment Manager in the Multi Asset Group at Barings, contributing as a member of the Strategic Policy Group. Earlier career highlights include co-heading investments and lead managing flagship absolute return funds at Amundi, along with key roles as a portfolio manager and board member. Merrick's educational background includes an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School and an EngD in Automotive Engineering from Cranfield University, complemented by a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
