Sam Stepanyan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in application security and cybersecurity, currently serving as a Global Board Member and London Chapter Leader for the OWASP® Foundation since December 2015. Sam has held a position as an Application Security Architect at Schroders since March 2019 and is the Director and Principal Consultant at Step9 Consulting since March 2014. Previous roles include serving as an Application Security Specialist at Deutsche Bank, a subject matter expert at Lloyds Banking Group, and a Senior Security Consultant at NTT Com Security. With a strong background in developing security solutions for a diverse range of sectors, Sam has been instrumental in consulting for various clients, including government and financial organizations. Sam holds a BSc and MEng in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the State Engineering University of Armenia.
