Simon Eggleton

Simon Eggleton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security and intelligence operations. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Threat and Risk Specialist at Schroders since March 2016, Simon has previously held significant leadership roles, including Director of the Joint Intelligence Operations Centre at the UK Ministry of Defence from January 2013 to August 2015, where management of a specialist directorate was a key responsibility. Simon's military career as an Army Officer in the British Army spanned from September 1989 to August 2015, including a notable position as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (Intelligence) at the Permanent Joint Headquarters, where oversight of the UK's Defence intelligence capability was a critical function. Simon's education includes a Master's Degree in Defence Studies from Cranfield University, an Advanced Command & Staff Course from the Defence Academy of the UK, and a Bachelor's Degree in History & Politics from The University of Waikato.
