Annabel Cook

Annabel Cook is an experienced professional in the fields of recruiting and scientific research, currently serving as a Recruiting Manager in Strategic Growth at Schrödinger since June 2020, following roles as Principal Associate and Senior Associate within the same team. Prior to this, Annabel worked as a Strategic Growth Consultant at D. E. Shaw Research from January 2016 to December 2017, focusing on talent acquisition for scientific teams across New York and Hyderabad. Earlier career experiences include positions as Staff Scientist at the European Bioinformatics Institute (November 2004 - June 2010), Research Scientist at D. E. Shaw Research (January 2004 - November 2005), and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London (November 2001 - December 2003 and July 2001 - February 2002). Annabel's education includes a degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford (1993 - 1997) and a PhD in Biochemistry from UCL (1997 - 2001).
