Ellery Russell

Ellery Russell is an experienced technical lead currently at Schrödinger, where responsibilities include guiding the Desmond Engine team in developing new molecular dynamics methods and enhancing performance, as well as overseeing the Force Field team in creating advanced potentials for MD/FEP. Prior experience includes serving as a senior developer at Spheryx, Inc. focusing on software for data analysis in holographic video microscopy, and as a computer vision engineer at Ghodousi Technologies, specializing in object recognition and detection using convolutional neural networks. Additional roles include software development at JAKT with an emphasis on iOS programming in computer vision, and providing instruction as an adjunct faculty member at New York University. Ellery Russell holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Jazz Performance from New York University.
