Rachel Liu

Rachel Liu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and counseling. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at Schrödinger since February 2021, Rachel has progressed through various HR roles there. Prior experience includes working with Welcome To Chinatown, where involvement in recruitment and employee strategy supported small businesses in Manhattan's Chinatown amid economic challenges. Rachel has also provided therapeutic counseling to adult individuals at Redeemer Counseling Services and Iona College, focusing on wellness and coping strategies. Previous roles include an executive assistant position at Rothschild, an English teacher at Hills Learning, a community programs associate with New York Cares, and a linguistic researcher at SIL International. Rachel holds a Master of Education and Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and French from the University of Southern California.
