Zhijian Liu is a Senior Director of Process Chemistry at Schrödinger since August 2021, previously holding multiple positions including Director. Prior to this role, Zhijian Liu worked at Merck from May 2009 to August 2021, progressing through the ranks from Sr. Research Scientist to Principal Research Scientist and Associate Principal Scientist. Zhijian Liu obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University in 2006 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Organic Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2006 to 2009.
