Kathleen Behrens

Kathleen Behrens is a seasoned mechanical drafter with extensive experience in creating and revising mechanical drawings across various industries. Currently employed at Schroer MFG since September 2011, Kathleen specializes in SolidWorks for the animal care sector, working with materials such as metal tubing and plastics. Prior to this role, Kathleen served as an Engineering Systems Specialist at Husqvarna from 2000 to 2011, where expertise in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing was developed. Previous positions include Mechanical Design Drafter at SOR and a short contract role at Jensen Engineering Company, focusing on industrial projects. Kathleen began a career in design at AlliedSignal Aerospace (now Honeywell), where proficiency in Pro/Engineer was gained. Educational qualifications include an Associate in Arts in Drafting and an Associate in General Studies from Kansas City Kansas Community College, as well as studies at The University of Kansas and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
