Matt V.

Matt V. currently serves as the Mid-West Co-Chapter Coordinator for the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and as a Lighting Specialist at Schuler Shook, both positions held since 2023. Previously, Matt V. gained valuable experience as a Lighting Design Intern at RDG Planning & Design and held dual roles as Lighting Designer and Production Intern at CCV: Christ's Church of the Valley from 2017 to 2022. In addition to lighting design, Matt V. has an extensive background in ice hockey officiating, serving as an on-ice referee for USA Hockey since 2013, primarily at the Junior levels. Matt V. holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from DePaul University and a High School Diploma from The Hill School.
