Brandon Gold

Brandon Gold is a Partner at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, focusing on shareholder activism and engagement since October 2013. Prior to this role, Brandon served as a Fellow at the Program on Corporate Governance from 2012 to 2013, conducting empirical research on takeover defenses at the IPO stage. Brandon began involvement in shareholder advocacy as a Student Advocate for the Shareholder Rights Project, where negotiations led to board declassification agreements with 48 S&P 500 companies. Legislative experience includes an internship in the Office of U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg and a summer analyst position at Maxim Group, holding a Series 7 license. Brandon obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business and Government & Law from Lafayette College.
