Peter Halasz

Peter Halasz has over three decades of legal and leadership experience, currently serving as a Partner at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP since 1998 and as the President of NACOEJ since June 2013. Previously, Peter held positions as Chairman of the American Friends of Sheba Medical Center from October 2016 to June 2020 and Director of the America-Israel Friendship League from June 1998 to June 2020. Earlier in his career, Peter worked as Counsel at Skadden Arps for a decade and as an Associate at Gelberg & Abrams. Peter’s educational background includes a JD from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an AB in Economics from Harvard University. Notable early education includes attendance at Norwalk High School, Bi-Cultural Day School, and Beth El.
