Jani Puhakka

Jani Puhakka is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery, currently serving as a consultant at Schulthess Klinik since September 2020. Prior roles include orthopedic surgeon consultant at the Spine Surgery Unit of the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa from August 2016 to August 2020, and completion of a spine surgery fellowship under the mentorship of Professor Dezsö Jeszenszky. Jani Puhakka also held positions as Chief Surgery Resident and Surgery Resident at Päijät-Hämeen sosiaali- ja terveysyhtymä from May 2013 to July 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program from the University of Helsinki, as well as obtaining the Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT) certification.
