Ron Walkup

Ron Walkup started their career in 1986 as a Project Electrical Engineer at Ultra Electronics, where they worked until 1999. Ron then joined Oxford Instruments as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to various software projects and developed innovative features for coating/plating thickness measurement systems. In 2009, they moved to Touchsensor Technologies as a Software Engineer and later joined Midtronics as a Senior Software Engineer in 2010. From 2013 to 2017, Ron worked at Silicon Engines, Ltd. as a Software Engineer in the IoT Architecture Group. Currently, they are employed at Schumacher Electric Corporation as a Software Engineer.

Ron Walkup attended the University of Illinois System from 1982 to 1986 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electrical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they also received additional certifications in C++ Language Proficiency and Visual BASIC Language Proficiency from the College of DuPage in November 2012.
