Ulrich von Huelsen

Ulrich von Huelsen serves as the COO of Carbon Technology & Mobility at Schunk Group since September 2019, overseeing a materials business division that provides solutions across multiple industries globally, managing four business units and subsidiaries in 29 countries with over 20 production facilities. Prior to this role, von Huelsen was the Chief Technology Officer and a board member at Pfeiffer Vacuum from September 2015 to June 2019, where responsibilities included the Business Unit Analytics, Industry, and R&D. Previous positions also include Managing Director at INOMETA, Head of Technology at INOMETA, Technical Director at Inometa Coatings GmbH, and R&D roles at NexPress Solutions and Heidelberg. Ulrich von Huelsen holds a PhD in Physics from The University of Göttingen and a Vordiplom in Business Administration from FernUniversität in Hagen.
