Dan Gentile has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan began their career in the US Navy, where they served in various roles such as an Atlantic Fleet Submarine Scheduler, Communication Officer, and Nuclear Reactor Controls Officer. During their tenure, they were recognized by the Secretary of the Navy for their exceptional work in improving the Reactor Controls Division.

After their military service, Gentile joined Procter & Gamble as a Finance Analyst and later became a Finance Manager. In this role, they conducted complex financial analyses, developed forecasts, and implemented measures to increase efficiency and profitability.

Dan then transitioned to The J.M. Smucker Company, where they served as a Finance Manager. Gentile was responsible for developing and implementing forward-thinking processes and financial tools. Later, Gentile joined Eagle Family Foods Group LLC as the Vice President of Finance. Dan was involved in the establishment of this new PE-owned company and built the Finance department from scratch.
