Dan Gentile has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan began their career in the US Navy, where they served in various roles such as an Atlantic Fleet Submarine Scheduler, Communication Officer, and Nuclear Reactor Controls Officer. During their tenure, they were recognized by the Secretary of the Navy for their exceptional work in improving the Reactor Controls Division.
After their military service, Gentile joined Procter & Gamble as a Finance Analyst and later became a Finance Manager. In this role, they conducted complex financial analyses, developed forecasts, and implemented measures to increase efficiency and profitability.
Dan then transitioned to The J.M. Smucker Company, where they served as a Finance Manager. Gentile was responsible for developing and implementing forward-thinking processes and financial tools. Dan also played a significant role in major restructuring projects and identifying business opportunities.
Later, Gentile joined Eagle Family Foods Group LLC as the Vice President of Finance. Dan was involved in the establishment of this new PE-owned company and built the Finance department from scratch. Dan oversaw all aspects of accounting operations and led initiatives to support the company's growth.
Dan'smost recent position is Chief Financial Officer at Schwebel Baking Company, where they currently serve.
Dan Gentile has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nuclear Engineering from The University of New Mexico. Dan also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a field of study in Finance, General from Strome College of Business.
