Rigel Menard

Rigel Menard is a registered patent attorney who enjoys working with clients to procure patents on complex technologies. His practice includes patent drafting and prosecution, technical analysis, and strategic counseling with an emphasis on cybersecurity (malware detection and prevention), wireless technologies and telecommunications, software, electric and electronic circuits, semiconductors, and microelectronic fabrication.

Rigel has prior experience in design and test engineering roles with animal and human implant devices and has worked on a number of projects as contract engineer in the smartphone accessories space. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and Mathematics and Physics from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. At the University of Minnesota, Rigel conducted research on how to curb the self-stimulating behaviors exhibited by people with autism. Prior to law school, he worked for Punch Through Design, Data Sciences, and Transoma Medical.
