Julie Gessin has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on dermatology. Julie started their career in 2012 at Schweiger Dermatology Group (SDG), where they held multiple roles. As the Chief Operating Officer, Julie played a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of SDG's operations, including medical practices, the pathology lab, acquisitions and integrations, training and development, and technology innovation. Julie also served as a Physician Assistant at SDG.

During their time at SDG, Julie achieved significant accomplishments, such as raising the Net Promoter Score for patient experience and increasing Yelp and Google reviews through automated response workflows and staff incentives. Julie was a key member of the Executive Management Team and Management Board and played a pivotal role in developing best-in-class operations and clinical standards, hiring and training the operations leadership team, optimizing workflows and clinical protocols, implementing a new EMR system, and improving patient satisfaction.

Julie also worked as the Director of Clinical Operations and Practice Development and Operations Associate at SDG, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

In 2018, Julie joined Allergan as an ACE Faculty and Trainer, specializing in Facial Aesthetics. Julie shared their expertise and provided training in this field.

Currently, Julie is a member of Chief, a private network that aims to empower women in executive leadership positions. The network serves as a platform for senior-level women to enhance their leadership skills and exchange ideas.

Julie also completed the Master of Science in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants (MSHS PA) Program at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Furthermore, they attended the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, where they earned a Masters of Science degree in Healthcare Policy and Research. Julie Gessin further pursued their education at Cornell University, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
