Soubia Hasan has a diverse work experience spanning various medical and academic roles. Soubia began their career as a Research Intern at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2019, where they worked until 2022. During this time, they gained valuable research experience. In 2021, they joined FRIENDLY URGENT CARE, INC as a Medical Assistant, a role they held until December 2022. In 2022, Soubia worked as a Patient Care Specialist/Medical Scribe at AM/PM Walk-in Urgent Care for a year. Soubia then transitioned to Next Generation Pediatric Urgent Care in 2023, where they served as a Medical Assistant. Currently, they hold the position of Medical Assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group, which they began in June 2023. In addition to their medical experience, Soubia also demonstrated leadership skills at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they served as the Lead of the Visitation and Events Team for the NJIT Student Ambassador program from 2019 to 2021. Soubia also worked as a New Student Orientation Leader from 2020 to 2021. Overall, Soubia has a strong background in healthcare and a proven ability to excel in a variety of roles.
Soubia Hasan completed their high school education at Academies at Englewood from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a diploma with a focus on Biomedicine. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Soubia is currently enrolled in this program and is expected to graduate in 2023. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained additional certifications including Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in March 2023, and Certified EKG Technician (CET) and Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) from Bergen Community College in June 2021.
