Lutz Gruebel

Lutz Gruebel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Lutz most recently held the position of Vice President Sales & Marketing at Schweizer Electronic AG starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President Sales & Market Development at Leuze from March 2021 to September 2022. From January 2018 to December 2020, Gruebel worked as the Director Global Sales at Basler AG. Lutz also served as the Head of Sales (Interim Management) at Rastal from July 2017 to January 2018.

Gruebel has significant experience with SCHOTT, where they worked in various roles over a span of more than 17 years. Earlier in their career, Gruebel worked as a Sales Manager in the Chemicals Division at NAGASE EUROPA GmbH from June 1998 to August 2000. Lutz also worked as an Assistant Sales Manager Europe in the Electronics Division at Hyosung Corporation from 1997 to 1998.

Lutz Gruebel holds a Master's Degree in M.A. Japanese Studies / Economics from The Philipp University of Marburg, which they completed in 1997. In 2007, they attended INSEAD for an Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy course. The following year, in 2008, they undertook a project on sales efficiency improvement for global B2B sales organizations at the University of St.Gallen. Most recently, in 2021, they attended the IESE Business School for a course on Getting Things Done - Strategy Implementation.
