Andrea Fischli

Co-head Science SRF at Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen

Andrea Fischli has extensive experience in the field of science journalism and broadcasting. Andrea has been with SRF - Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen since 1995, starting as a Science Journalist and Producer for the "PULS" Health Programme. Andrea then held various roles within the organization, including UK Correspondent and News Journalist for "Tagesschau." Andrea later became a News/Science Journalist for "10vor10" and then a Science Journalist for the "Einstein" Science Programme. Andrea is currently serving as the Co-Head of Science SRF. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise and commitment to delivering quality science content to the audience.

Andrea Fischli pursued their education at the University of Basel, where they obtained an MSc degree in Molecular Biology/Genetics from 1989 to 1993. Andrea later enrolled in Imperial College London from 1993 to 1994 for a degree in Science Communication, earning an MSc in this field.
