Beat Soltermann

Beat Soltermann serves as the Editor-in-Chief for Audio and Digital at SRF - Swiss Radio and Television since November 2011, where responsibilities include leading the CR Audio/Digital department and overseeing editorial content across audio and digital channels. With a background as the Head of Digital Audio and Radio Online, Soltermann played a critical role in digital audio distribution and project initiatives within the organization. Previous experience includes managing the daily Swiss news program "Echo der Zeit," serving as the Washington Bureau Chief for SRG SSR, and holding editorial positions at Swiss Radio DRS. Educational achievements encompass a Doctor of Law from the University of Bern and a Diploma in Digital Excellence from IMD, alongside various certifications in journalism and communication.
