Vera Zingg

Vera Zingg has extensive experience in journalism and communication, currently serving as Redaktorin und Host for SRF News Digital Hintergrund and as Redaktorin for Tagesschau at SRF - Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen since May 2010. Prior to this, Vera worked at Swiss Television in the Newsdesk Tagesschau from May 2010 to September 2022, and held a communication role at Gemeinde Emmen from August 2009 to August 2010. Vera's career began at JACK WOLFSKIN GmbH & Co. KGaA, where sales were the main focus from August 2003 to August 2009. In terms of education, Vera obtained a Master of Arts in Global Society and Global Politics from the University of Lucerne between 2008 and 2010, and earlier earned a Bachelor of Arts in Kommunikation und Mediastudien, Sociologie, and Sozialanthropologie from Universität Fribourg from 2004 to 2007.
