Thomas Dane

Thomas Dane is a seasoned leader in the welfare and healthcare sectors with extensive experience in organizational management and advocacy. Currently serving as Vorstandsvorsitzender at Saarländischer Schwesternverband e.V. since October 2010, Thomas oversees a network of care and support facilities across five federal states, managing 3,200 employees and a revenue of €130 million. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Kaufmännisches Vorstandsmitglied at Diakonisches Werk Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz from October 1997 to September 2010, focusing on membership advocacy and organizational operations. Thomas briefly served as Vorstandsvorsitzender of Landesausschuss für Innere Mission from December 2006 to December 2007 and worked as a Referent at Deutscher Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband Landesverband Hamburg e.V. from March 1988 to December 1994. Thomas holds a Diplom in Sociology from the University of Hamburg, completed in 1988.
